#GetHealedAndGetBusy. What a way to start a blog right? But seriously folks, our abortion healing is like our salvation which we joyfully celebrate this Easter Sunday: It's not meant just for us but for others as well! Last week I shared several types of healing programs that are designed to help women and men find a place of repentance and peace as they reconnect with the Father who so desperately wants them reconciled to Him. That said, He is also eager to put your new found healing to use helping others. You may not yet know your assigned duties but, rest assured, He has something planned specifically for you. Don't expect to be left in your normal comfort zones either. He may push you completely out of the nest knowing that ultimately, He is the wind beneath your wings.
In other words, get used to a new "normal."
There are many service opportunities for the Kingdom of God. Remember that God wants His daughters and sons Healed and delivered so that the promise of abundant life made by Jesus can be fulfilled (John 10:10 KJV). Hasn't the thief stolen enough of your time, talent and energy and in doing so delayed your healing process? And make no mistake, healing IS a PROCESS fraught with many ups and downs, twists and turns. But do not allow fear to hold you back any longer!!! Now that you know abortion healing and recovery really is a "thing" that will benefit not only you but your family and everyone in your circles of influence, you can be about your Fathers business.
First things first: Let's start on as firm a foundation as we can right? Develop your daily devotional life and quiet time with the Master and find a group of like minded people who can pray with you and for you. I would highly suggest becoming a part of two communities: One is our partners at Divinely Driven Ministry which is solely devoted to helping women become disciple makers. Find them at DivinelyDrivenMinistry.com and on Facebook and Instagram. The second group I would humbly recommend would be your sisters here at AriseDaughter.org. We are equipped and committed to helping you further Heal, Train and Serve in the Kingdom. Look for us also on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify and YouTube.
And where might you serve? Any number of opportunities await you! You can volunteer at a pregnancy resource center helping to council abortion minded women. Find your local PRC at optionline.org You could volunteer to facilitate an abortion healing group whether in person or online at your local PRC. Locate local abortion healing programs at abortionchangesyou.com or with SurrenderingtheSecret.com . You could become a sidewalk advocate with sidewalkadvocates.org to help women outside of abortion clinics. You can be a part of a post abortion network on Facebook in private groups like "I Regret My Abortion" and "I Regret My Abortion; Silent Survivors" to bear witness and to offer support and answer questions. You could become a phone coach with a group like H3Helpline.org. that helps people find post-abortion resources 24/7. And of course, you can donate dollars to many worthy pro-life causes. You can also write representatives in both the state as well as federal governments to let them know pro-life issues are at the top of your agenda. Last and not least, you can share. your. story; Healed people heal people. Consult with Holy Spirit first but, be prepared to share your story and how God healed you. Revelation 12 :11 NLT says: "And they defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die." Yes my friends, serving the Kingdom will cost you. But it pales in comparison to what was paid to redeem you. You can share your testimony at abortionchangesyou.com or at silentnomoreawareness.org .
I have given my testimony several times now and I have prayed each time that God uses it to free His captive daughters who are still bound by guilt and shame. Whatever you choose to do, do it for the glory of God knowing that nothing you do could make Him love you more than He already does. But won't it feel good to show others what beauty He has made from your ashes?
